The heartwarming drama Ando Natsu follows a passionate young woman whose dream of becoming a professional patissiere is shattered after the sudden death of her shop owner. Left jobless, Natsu travels to Tokyo in search of a new confectionery position, only to find that the recruiting period has already closed.

Fortunately, a chance encounter leads her to Mangetsudo, a well-established Japanese confectionery shop. Run by veteran confectioner Umekichi Takezo and Mitsuko, the shop happens to be searching for a part-time worker. After a series of unexpected events, Natsu begins working at Mangetsudo. Although her primary role is to serve customers, her curiosity is quickly piqued by the traditional sweets around her. Having previously worked only in Western cake shops, this delicate craft is entirely new to Natsu. She soon finds herself deeply drawn into the rich and profound world of Japanese confection, starting an inspiring culinary journey of self-discovery.
