Description:

Amore Mio is a gripping drama that explores family secrets and long-lost love. HaeChang, a humble dye factory owner, contacts his estranged wife, SooYoung, who abandoned him and their daughter, MiRae, twenty-four years ago. The reason for his call is MiRae's upcoming wedding to her fiance, JinKook. However, the wedding plans halt when JinKook's mother, DoSoon, suddenly opposes the marriage due to MiRae's parents' past. This opposition triggers a search into a history long buried. Back in 1985, during the student movement, HaeChang met and fell in love with SooYoung at a police station. To impress her, he lied about being a student at Hankook University, using an ID from his lodging house. In the present, it turns out DoSoon is the daughter of that very lodging house owner, holding the key to HaeChang's secrets. As obstacles threaten her marriage, MiRae begins a secret investigation into her parents' mysterious history to uncover the truth.
