Amachan follows the story of Amano Aki, a second-year high school student struggling to keep up with her fast-paced life in Tokyo. This trip changes Aki's life forever when she meets her maternal grandmother Natsu for the very first time. Natsu is a traditional woman diver, known as an ama.
