Description:

Aibou: Season 9 opens with Kanbe Takeru continuing his work in the Special Missions Division, maintaining his professional distance from direct superior Sugishita Ukyo. The season's central mystery begins when the popular female novelist Mizumoto Shoko is found dead in her own home. Initial evidence suggests a grudge-fueled murder, with a male stalker quickly emerging as a prime suspect in the unfolding investigation.

However, Ukyo's keen insight leads him to focus on a crucial missing section from a document package for Shoko's latest, unreleased book. This discovery reveals Shoko was venturing into an unexpected environmental theme, a significant departure from her previous writing style. As the plot deepens, Ukyo and Kanbe collaborate to gather critical information from employees at a trading conglomerate whom Shoko had interviewed. This season promises a complex police procedural unraveling corporate secrets, environmental intrigue, and a puzzling murder.
