Description:

Ai Nante Irane Yo Natsu is a gripping Japanese drama starring Hirosue Ryoko and Watabe Atsuro. The story follows a bitter, wealthy blind girl, played by Hirosue Ryoko, who inherits her late father's vast estate. Years ago, her mother abandoned her but took her brother, Reiji I. Unbeknownst to her, Reiji I wrote letters for years, which were hidden by a housekeeper. Reiji I worked as a cook for Reiji II, played by Watabe Atsuro, the ruthless owner of a Kabukicho host club. After Reiji II is imprisoned and Reiji I tragically dies in an accident, Reiji II emerges from jail facing massive debts to a dangerous Kabukicho loan shark. In a desperate bid for survival, Reiji II steals the identity of the deceased Reiji I when a detective confuses them. He schemes to claim the inheritance by reuniting with the blind sister. However, she is deeply resentful and resists his arrival.
