After-school Starlight introduces Sei Saotome, a fifteen-year-old prone to crucial failures, who nearly becomes a high school dropout. She enrolls in an ambitious new school, a place seemingly beyond her reach. There, Sei encounters the popular and bold Taiyou Udagawa, and the dreamy, stars-obsessed Mizuki Ootaka.
