After School reunites three high school friends for a pivotal journey to visit their beloved former teacher, Micky, who is now seriously ill. The institution was infamous for its strict rules, and the mischievous trio constantly challenged its authority, much to the director's dismay.

However, the dynamic shifted dramatically with the arrival of Micky. He had a unique ability to connect with the boys, not only taming their defiant spirits but also becoming a trusted friend and mentor. Micky was progressive for his era, openly discussing romantic relationships and sexuality, even producing documentaries to champion the gay community. His profound influence helped students, including these three friends, to better understand homosexuality and, importantly, themselves. Their return is a heartfelt homage to the man who truly shaped their lives.
