The compelling film Absolute Zero explores a poignant time-traveling paradox centered on enduring love and immense sacrifice. After his boyfriend Ongsa is critically injured in an accident while rushing for his birthday, SuanSoon is overcome with guilt, wishing to prevent their fateful meeting. His wish is granted, sending him back to the past where he attempts to warn a younger, high school-aged Ongsa about their tragic future. Yet, destiny prevails, and Ongsa falls for SuanSoon again. A decade later, on the day before the original accident, a future version of Ongsa appears, revealing a devastating truth: SuanSoon will die if the accident is avoided. Ongsa bravely chooses to let the accident unfold. He then reawakens in the past, at their initial encounter. Faced with this recurring loop, Ongsa makes a heartbreaking decision not to approach SuanSoon, believing that by changing their connection, he can spare them from a cycle of pain.
