A Very Special Love is a heartwarming romantic comedy about two people from vastly different backgrounds who discover that love truly knows no barriers. Laida, played by Sarah, is the hardworking breadwinner of her family who is hired as an editorial assistant at Bachelor magazine. The firm is managed by Miggy, played by John Lloyd, of the Montenegro clan. When Miggy makes Laida his personal assistant and forces her to pretend to be his girlfriend, office gossip spreads. To save face, Laida reveals a secret about her boss, leading to an angry confrontation where she calls him a snob and a braggart. Upon realizing his mistakes, Miggy apologizes and promises to change. Working closely as teammates, they slowly overcome their differences and eventually become a couple.
