In a neglected poor town of Seoul, contrasting sharply with the city's gleaming facades, "A Quiet Dream" introduces an unconventional trio. Three men, each burdened by their own struggles, including a gang outcast, a depressed North Korean defector, and an epileptic who subsists solely on milk, call themselves "patients." They find solace and companionship frequenting a small local bar, each subtly vying for the affections of the captivating bar lady, Ye Ri.

Despite their individual tribulations, these resilient souls never succumb to blame, always finding humor and moving past adversity. Their lives take an intriguing turn one day when Ye Ri playfully inquires about their dreams from the previous night. As the men recount their distinct nightmares, Ye Ri surprises them all with an honest and intimate confession: she had a vivid, shared dream of making love to each of them. This candid revelation challenges their unspoken desires and deepens the unique, quiet bonds forged in their humble corner of the city.
