A Man with Style tells the story of Junichi Miyata (Ken Mitsuishi), a middle-aged parcel delivery driver. As a bullied 13-year-old, Junichi promised himself he would grow up to be a cool guy who hides his emotions. However, life has grown difficult. Ever since his wife died of stomach cancer, Junichi has struggled to communicate with his two children: unemployed 19-year-old Toshiya (Ryu Morioka) and 18-year-old Momoko (Jun Yoshinaga). Now, gripped by the fear that he might also have cancer, Junichi reaches out to his old friend Sanada (Tomorowo Taguchi) to discuss his worries. Facing his mortality, Miyata hopes to achieve his dream of graduating from college and, most importantly, creating beautiful memories with his kids before it is too late.
