The movie A Hard Day 2013 follows homicide detective Go Geonsoo as he endures the most disastrous 24 hours of his life. His day begins with a sudden divorce notice from his wife, followed quickly by the tragic news that his mother has passed away. To worsen his situation, police inspectors begin investigating him and his coworkers over alleged embezzlement. Amidst this chaos, while driving recklessly to his mother's funeral, Go Geonsoo accidentally commits a fatal hit and run. Desperate to coverup the accident, he decides to hide the man's corpse inside his deceased mother's coffin. Just when he thinks the secret is safe, he receives a mysterious call. An unknown caller claims to be the sole witness to the crime and begins to blackmail him mercilessly, turning his stressful day into a dangerous game of survival.
