Description:

A Dream of Splendor follows Zhao Pan Er, a determined tea shop owner who travels to Beijing for justice after her fiancé, a rising scholar, abandons her. On her journey, she bravely rescues her good sister Song Yin Zhang, who was cheated and abused in marriage. She also saves Sun San Niang, a woman driven to despair and a suicide attempt by her unfortunate married life. Upon learning Zhao Pan Er arrived, her former fiancé tries to force her out of Bianjing. Undeterred, the three resilient women — Zhao Pan Er, Song Yin Zhang, and Sun San Niang — decide to remain in Bianjing. Relying on their collective abilities, they face numerous tribulations, transforming a modest teahouse into Bianjing's largest and most celebrated restaurant. This arduous struggle not only brings them prosperity but also allows Zhao Pan Er to overcome her obsession with hating her ex-fiancé, forging a powerful path of equal salvation for humble women in ancient times.
