A Clinic On The Sea is a heartwarming medical comedy drama set on the Kaishinmaru, a hospital ship traveling across the Seto Inland Sea to provide medical services to islands without hospitals. The story follows Sezaki Kota, a young freelance physician from Hokkaido who joins the dedicated ship crew, including nurse Togami Mako, Misaki Noboru, physician Uchimura Aoi, clerical officer Hiuchi Akira, and captain Kaito Takeshi. Despite his medical skills, Kota has a hilarious weakness: he instantly falls in love with beautiful women on every island they visit. During a stop at Chitosejima, he meets Murakami Mizuki, the daughter of shipbuilder Michinori, and vows to solve her family problems and marry her.
