Directed by Jo Myeong Nam, A Bold Family, also known as Super Family, is a hilarious comedy movie centered around the extreme lengths people will go for money. The story follows two brothers, Myong Sok and Myong Gyu. When Myong Sok faces severe debt, he discovers a way out through his terminally ill father, who owns land worth 5 billion won. However, the father intends to donate this fortune to the Unification Ministry unless North and South Korea unify before his death, driven by a deep desire to reunite with his lost family in North Korea. To secure the inheritance, Myong Sok teams up with his brother Myong Gyu, a B-grade erotic film director, to fake the historic unification. Using a guerrilla film crew and fake North Korean news broadcasts, they attempt to dupe their father. Soon, the deception spirals out of control, forcing the entire community into the elaborate charade. Will their bold plan succeed?
