A Barefoot Dream is an inspiring sports drama about Kim WonKang, a former soccer player struggling to find his way. After his business ventures fail post-retirement, Kim WonKang decides to leave his troubles behind and travel to the small nation of East Timor. There, he takes on the challenging role of coaching a newly formed youth soccer team that has only been in existence for a single year. Facing limited resources and tough conditions, the young players and their coach embark on an emotional journey of hope and determination. Along the way, with the crucial help of Coach Kim ShinHwan, the team overcomes incredible odds. Together, they transform their raw talent into championship material, ultimately going on to win two major international youth soccer events.
