Inspired by famous Chinese Taoist mythology, the fantasy TV series 8 Avatar brings to life an epic battle between mortals and deities using stunning 3D visual effects. Set during the Tang Dynasty, the world is ravaged by deadly, incurable diseases. To save humanity, God sends two immortals, Tong and Hung, to retrieve healing herbs from the Mountain of Medicine. However, the malicious East Sea Dragon King blocks their path. The goddess Kwan Yin reveals that they must find six other disguised immortals living among humans to defeat this evil force.
