Set in 1970s Hong Kong, the comedy drama 72 Tenants of Prosperity follows sworn brothers Ha Kung and Shek Kin as they help 72 tenants defeat their greedy landlord and landlady. Along the way, they rescue Pinky from a forced marriage. When both brothers fall for Pinky, a rigged coin toss determines who marries her. Ha Kung wins, turning the sworn brothers into bitter rivals.
