3D Naked Ambition follows Wyman Chan Chapman To, a literature graduate who loses his job writing erotic newspaper stories. Unemployed and capricious, Chan finds inspiration in the Japanese adult video AV industry and decides to become a producer of pornographic films. His friends enthusiastically offer their help, especially Hatoyama Josie Ho, who is highly familiar with the Japanese porn industry. Although everyone is eager to help with filming, Chan is soon forced into acting as the lead role. Surprisingly, Chan becomes an instant sensation in Japan for his unique on-screen performances of being sexually harassed and dominated by women in the AV. Recognizing this sudden success, Hatoyama travels to Hong Kong to persuade Chan to pursue his unrealistic dream. He must decide whether to take the ultimate leap as a Hong Kong man entering the highly competitive Japanese AV industry.
