The drama series 11 Nin mo Iru! follows the chaotic yet heartwarming lives of the impoverished Sanada family. Minoru Sanada, played by Seiichi Tanabe, is a struggling cameraman, while his wife Megumi, played by Yasuko Mitsuura, runs a completely customerless cafe. Despite their financial woes, they have eight children, making them a family of ten. The eldest son, Kazuo Sanada, played by Ryunosuke Kamiki, constantly sacrifices his own personal interests to support his parents and siblings. However, chaos erupts when Kazuo’s trusted uncle steals money from a company president and flees. To help his struggling family, a devastated Kazuo secretly pauses his education to take on multiple part-time jobs. When the Sanada family discovers his absence a week later, they quickly call an emergency family meeting to address the crisis. But just as they gather to discuss their future, a mysterious eleventh person suddenly appears, changing their family dynamic forever.
