In the horror-comedy Out of the Dark, tenant Mr. Li is pushed to the limit inside his apartment highrise when the vengeful ghost of his late mother returns. The angry spirit blames Mr. Li and his wife for her tragic death, unleashing a wave of terrifying paranormal activity. Caught up in the supernatural chaos is a crazy girl named Kwan and the building's incredibly inept security guards. Terrified and desperate to escape the haunting, this mismatched group seeks immediate help. Their only hope comes from a highly unusual source: Leon, an escaped mental patient and a Professional-type wannabe who was simply passing by the apartment highrise when the ghostly events began. Together, this bizarre group must band together under Leon's eccentric guidance to survive the night and defeat the angry spirit.
