Description:

Lost in Beijing is a gripping drama about Liu Ping Guo and her husband An Kun, a young migrant couple who move from the northeast of China to Beijing in search of a better life. Living in a dilapidated apartment, they struggle to make ends meet through demanding, menial jobs. An Kun works as a window washer, while his wife Liu Ping Guo works as a foot masseuse at the Golden Basin Massage Parlor. This establishment is owned by Lin Dong, an unabashed womanizer originally from Guangdong Province, whose wife Wang Mei practices Chinese medicine. As the daily struggles of these two very different couples intersect, their lives become tangled in a web of temptation, ambition, and betrayal. Soon, a series of unexpected events sets them on an inevitable collision course that will test their relationships and morals. This emotional story paints a realistic picture of modern migration and the harsh realities of urban life.
