In the horror film Kuroyuri Danchi, Asuka Atsuko Maeda moves into the Kuroyuri apartment complex, completely unaware of the mysterious deaths that occurred there thirteen years ago. Soon after arriving, she is disturbed by strange garigarigari scratching sounds coming from the apartment next door. The mystery intensifies when her elderly neighbor is found dead inside, a tragic discovery prompted by his continuously ringing alarm clock. Following his death, even more horrifying incidents begin to occur throughout the building. Desperate to uncover the truth and find peace, Asuka seeks the help of Sasahara Hiroki Narimiya, a specialist who cleans out the homes of recently deceased individuals. Together, they search the old man’s apartment to find a meaningful item to return to his family, hoping to unravel the terrifying supernatural forces haunting the complex.
