Description:

Set during the Qing dynasty, the historical drama Find The Light follows China's struggle to modernize its military after the Opium Wars. Revolutionary Chan Do Yeung becomes the principal of a new military academy, insisting on admitting Han students. Among the new recruits are noble Tam Chi Tung and commoner Wong Ng, who form an unlikely yet deep friendship. Meanwhile, Princess Cheuk Lan, whose father Sok Yi Suen seeks to sabotage the Han students, falls in love with Wong Ng. Recognizing Wong Ng's latent potential, Chan Do Yeung takes him under his wing to help him master his immense strength. However, tragedy strikes when the Manchu discover Chan Do Yeung's secret revolutionary identity and ambush him. Though Wong Ng fails to graduate from the academy and becomes an escort leader, he eventually masters his combat skills with the dadao weapon. Though too late to save his master, Wong Ng embarks on a powerful quest to avenge his death.
